The technology known as 4D Respiratory Gating is a tool that allows physicians to capture the movement of internal organs from a patient's respiration in order to study the effected area and plan for a more targeted treatment. This advancement enables oncologists to provide patients' with greater patient care by delivering enahnced treatment planning from a gated CT image.
